How to generate Testcase Scenarios in Automation Tab.

In the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) tab, users have the ability to upload files and generate testcase scenarios. This document will guide users on how to generate testcase scenarios in automation tab using automation language from the dropdown menu.

Generating Automation Scripts:

Select the Language:

  • In the Automation tab, locate the dropdown menu for selecting the scripting language.

  • Choose automation script as per your preference and requirements.

Generating Automation Script:

  • After selecting the desired language, click on the "Generate" button.

  • The system will process the selected testcase scenarios and generate the automation script accordingly.

When a user needs to create an additional function in an automation process, they can simply do so by navigating to the BDD tab and adding new function and updating the existing section. This functionality allows users the flexibility to add new functionality to an existing automation workflow without the need to start over from scratch.

The ability to generate a new function within the automation tab ensures that users can efficiently manage their automation processes. This saves time and simplifies the automation process for users.

Once a user has generated a new function in the automation tab, it is crucial to ensure that the newly created scenario is executed without any failures.

By selecting automation language from the dropdown menu, users can generate automation scripts from the feature file.

When the user clicks on the history version hyperlink, there are several different ways they can view the history of modifications in the Automation tab. The history can be accessed as follows:

Timeline View: This view displays a chronological timeline of all the modifications made to the BDD tab. Users can see the date and time of each modification, allowing them to track the changes over time.

Side-by-Side Comparison: In this view, the current version of the selected automation language is displayed alongside the previous version. Users can easily identify the specific modifications made by comparing the two versions side by side.

Change Log View: This view presents a detailed log of all the modifications made to the BDD tab. It includes information such as the date and time of the change.

Highlighted Changes: In this view, any modifications made to the BDD tab are highlighted, making it easy for users to identify the specific changes that were made. This view is particularly useful when there have been numerous modifications and users want to focus on the most recent changes.

After Modification in BDD Tab: User can view Update version when clicked on Automation Tab.

Once Version is updated user can view below screen

when clicked on history Version user can view both existing and new version as shown below

User can click on any required version and proceed further. So the selected option is updated in Automation Tab.

Export: User has two options to export automation file in 1 Step definition and Multi Step definition.

In the All in 1 Step definition, if the user selects this option, all the files in the project will be selected by default. The user will then have the option to click on the "Export" button and download all the selected files in a single step.

On the other hand, if the user selects the Multi Step definition, they will have the flexibility to select any file in the project. Once a file is selected, the user will have the option to click on the "Export" button and download that particular file.

The user has the flexibility to choose the desired export option based on their needs and requirements.
